Hebrews 10:23

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and to learn more about my work and about me.
I was born, raised, and I live in Romania, a small country in Europe. My passions are love (yes, I’m one of those people who love even the idea of love), psychology, theology, walking with people, writing, nature, and bringing God’s hope in places of despair and discouragement.
For most of my adult life, I’ve worked in IT/tech (for more years than the pictures would have you assume). A couple of years ago, I found myself without a job and with no desire to go back to - what was for me - work with little meaning.
In moments of sorrow, I was giving up up my dreams and desires. I was losing hope, ready to settle for a life of just going through the motions. Oh, but, how faithful, loving, and merciful the Good Father is. He didn't allow me to stay there for long. Gently, He picked me up, spoke into my heart, and invited me to walk a new path. One of ignited and renewed hope.
For the next two years, experiencing being coached myself, I started dreaming again, getting in touch with the deepest desires of my heart, and I gained the skills to take custody of my mind (as Joan of Arc says, “All battles are first won or lost in the mind”).
I’ve been learning more about my unique-design, how to better manage my emotions (and make friends with those pesky ones; ok, maybe frenemies at times), and I grew into a deeper, more profound, and more intimate relationship with the Lord.
And I want to help others do the same. God wants to work amazing things in your life as well!
Along the way, the Lord guided me to a new career path, calling me to become a life coach. Now I’m building my coaching business (words I thought would never come out of my mouth; or out of my keyboard), which I’ve consecrated to The Holy Family.
Holding on to hope can be a battle sometimes, since the enemy wants nothing more than to smother the flame of hope in the world. But the Father continues His healing work of love and mercy, blessing me with His graces, and the power of Christ is made perfect in my weakness, in the words of Saint Paul.
I’m in love with our Lord, the Catholic faith, and there’s a special place in my heart for the sacrament of marriage and the thriving of families. Sister Lucia said at Fatima that “The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about Marriage and the Family”, and I am passionate about helping people win this good fight, with the grace of God.
Besides this, I help people discover their unique-design and explore the unique mission that the Lord is calling them to. God didn’t create us randomly, but with intention and purpose. In a world where there’s a heightened sense of purposelessness, lack of meaning and direction, a world where people are settling for just going through the motions, I want to see people excited to get up in the morning. Motivated to work and serve. Fulfilled with their lives and relationships. Most of all, full of faith, hope and charity. Full of the Holy Spirit.
My temperaments are melancholic and phlegmatic, so you can expect a coaching style that is purposeful, practical, insightful, patient, adaptable, efficient, focused, encouraging, peaceful, and compassionate. (And worry not, I’m not this verbose in my coaching.) I will challenge you when appropriate, and I will hold you hand when needed.
My top Clifton Strengths are Belief, Harmony, Connectedness, Developer, Responsibility, and Relator, making me a coach that is principled, calm, reliable, observant, structured, and focused on the client and their goals.
I am a certified Catholic Mindset Coach with Metanoia Catholic, and Accompaniment certified (strengths coach) with Human Formation Coalition.
Hey, there, wonderful mystery!

Vision, Mission and Values
Our vision at Hope Caught Ablaze is to help create a world of virtuous people, fully alive. A world where hope is caught ablaze, its bright light dispelling the darkness.
In the words of Saint Pope John Paul II: “Jesus does not ask us to give up living, but to accept a newness and a fullness of life that only He can give.”
Our mission is empowering men and women who struggle with overcoming life’s challenges. Through mindset coaching, we help people align their lives with God’s will, so that they may find resilient hope, complete joy, and authentic freedom, rooted in the truth of Christ and in the grace of the Holy Spirit. For the greater glory of God and man’s attainment of Beatitude.
We desire that you wake up in the morning excited about the adventure that awaits you. Excited to see your spouse and children. Excited to work in the vineyard. Excited to be an active member in the Body of Christ, building the Kingdom of God. And going to bed, praising God and looking forward to doing it all over again tomorrow.
Our work is rooted in the values of Hope, Truth, Freedom, and Compassion. It has a strong Catholic foundation and leans into Saint Paul’s instructions in Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

TRUTH
We look to Jesus - the Way, the Truth and the Life -
and to His word to know and understand the truth,
the truth that sets us free.
The Spirit of truth and wisdom guides us in all the truth, and the Father sanctifies us in the truth.
HOPE
We trust in the Father’s promises and rely not on our own strength, but on the grace of the Holy Spirit, seeking the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal happiness.
Christ who calls us is faithful and He desires our greatest good, so hope in Him does not disappoint.
COMPASSION
We strive to imitate Jesus, who looking at the crowd, had compassion for them and cured their sick.
When, by the grace of the Spirit, we return to the Father, He sees us from afar and, filled with compassion, He runs to us, puts His arms around us, and kissed us.
FREEDOM
We seek to stand firm in virtue and not become slaves again, as for freedom Christ has set us free.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And the Father desires our freedom, so we can choose life everlasting with Him in Heaven, and an abundant life here, on Earth.

Monica has been pivotal in helping me move forward from situations and thoughts that were holding me back and getting me down for months. I have enjoyed the process with Monica and felt her warmth, positivity and sisterly care yet at the same time she is gifted with strength to challenge and help me to reframe my stubborn thought process. I can really see the internal growth since our sessions together and have made big life changes since working with Monica. Thank you, Monica!
My Clifton Strengths coaching session with Monica was incredibly valuable! Monica is a caring listener who created a supportive space to review and understand my Clifton Strengths report. Monica’s thoughtful questions and insights helped me see how I could leverage those strengths in my daily life. Throughout the session, she also skillfully identified meaningful connections in my reflections, which helped me gain deeper awareness.
